Ammo Advice

Hi

I've been shooting purchased .308, 155 grain ammo (HPS Targetmaster) for the last 10 years or so for distances of between 300 & 1,000 yds. I've been happy with the results.

However, I would like to try longer distances and am considering entering the IBIS comp at Bisley which has one comp at 1,100 yds. Do you think the additional 100 yds might be too much for 155 grain or will I get acceptable results?

If you are free on Saturday join me at 1100 at Bisley in the morning and find out!

Check out the thread I started on shooting at 1100 at Bisley.
Some info from knowledgeable types in it.

RUAG 155 will shoot to 1100 yds with no problem. Just come up 7 to 8 minutes from your 1000 yd setting. Reading the foibles of the wind is a different matter.
You could always load up some 155 2156s to give your self an edge over the old 2155.
