Just wondered, can you fit a Remington 700 .223 SPS Tactical in the latest A.i. AX chassis systems? You can with the .308 so wondered what the difference was, I assumed its the mags but noticed that they now do a steel .223 which is the same as the .308 but with an insert??

Que?
er...Yes, a smaller hole down the fat tube thing...they also do a cheaper-to-buy polymer 10-rd .223 magazine (as well as steel 223 mags at approx double the cost of polymer ones)

Accuracy International no longer make .223 mags in either steel or polymer. Accu-shot mags are getting hard to come by in .223.
Steel mags maybe still available from some outlets just as Dauntsey Guns. Sporting Services had none when I enquired earlier this month.
Polymer mags by MDT can be obtained from Black Rifle.

My AI 223 mags must be ultra rare collectors items now!
Best check my house content policy is high enough to cover them.

'a smaller hole down the fat tube thing' Er, OK.
They don't seem to quote the newer type chassis systems with .223 they only mention the .308 and Lapua versions. So just trying o confirm that the .223 700 SPS will fit in a AX chassis.

Sporting Services 01342 716427 and ask for Adam or Graeme and they are sure to know. I have some .223 Steel 10 shot magazines here if you get stuck.
