We're thinking, oomans. How about a K31 action in one of Major Disorder's nice MDTS lightweight chassis systems ? Awesome ballistics from the GP 11 round, superbly accurate barrel, rapid fire straight pull bolt and light enough to lug round the ulu all day in search of Bambi...

That would be great! I'm sure some will wet their antique undies though :-)

I've had the urge to make something like that out of a K31 for a long time. There's very little out there in terms of stocks for the K31 other than this

If you can persuade someone to cut the Aluminium for you, I'm up for it goodjob

Sounds like someone is getting their paws crossed...

THE K31 project would be replicating one of lovely Bull-Pup versions... one would very much like to try one in the flesh.
Of the two I prefer the looks of the first model...though the more recent one seems interesting too!

I had a similar idea to bullpup a Mosin, with a rounded cam-type arrangement for handling the bolt. K31 would be much easier :D

The K31 action would lend itself to being bullpupped and actuated by a pump type mechanism, but Messrs Straw and Plod would have kittens...

Yeah, better off with a lever or straight pull. With a good linkage or gear setup you could reload with barely a twitch of your paw!

K31 mentioned in the same breath as nasty Russian things - shame on you.
