The new Mrs 20series (Debs) is a very lovely and understanding person, owing to no longer having a spare room in the new house to locate my reloading bench, she suggested I put it in the living room :p :p

So following completing the decorating at the weekend I've been busy with a circular saw and ta da!!!!

At the weekend I discovered our house has a large cellar we never knew it had!, apparently sealed for at least the last 50 years and the Mrs has said if I can get it sorted I can do what I want with it!!. I just need to work out how to get in it...... wallhead

Well done 20, that "conditioning" is working! You may be able to take the collar off her soon ;)
And Snayp, surely there's only one way, the Russian way!?

Sure, an RPG would do the trick but I want to be able to use it!.Seriously though it has an arched brick ceiling (think railway tunnel) the top of which sits about 6" below the joists of the front room floor and there is steps coming up from the floor of the cellar to the underside of the arch which has been bricked over. What I don't want to do is go at it half cocked and knock it out so I can access the steps and risk the whole lot falling into the hole......basically don't want to risk the structural integrity of the arched ceiling without seeking advice.

Sorry for the thread hijack 20

Looks good Al :good:

We do not have a reloading area in the living room however we do have a Danish Snider hanging on the wall until I get around to building some cartridge cases for it plus we have this:

Demonic, I can assure you that Debs is her own person and makes her own mind up on things lol lol

Luckily she actually enjoys shooting so hopefully I can get her into the loading bit as well.

Presumably the 'on view to a casual visitor' rule pertaining to cabs doesn't apply to reloading gear? Ours is in a guest bedroom hence the question.

Charlotte

I can see where you're coming from but pretty much the only visitors we get are either family or friends most of which know we have firearms in the house,
