Eye protection - obstructing ear defenders.

I use eye protection when shooting slug matches at Bisley.
Up to recently I used pre moulded ear plugs but this time I used my regular ear defenders as they are a bit more effective in noise reduction.
However I noticed two problems -
1 - The arms of the glasses prevented the cushions of the ear defenders making the usual "seal" around my ears.
2 - After a while I was uncomfortable with the arms being pressed into my head by the ear defenders.
Any way around this ? Maybe glasses with a strap rather than arms ?
Any glasses made specifically for use with ear defenders ?

I use ESS Crossbow Suppressor glasses, which have thin arms specifically shaped to fit under ear defenders. (They don't have the best retention once you take your ear defenders off, though, so I use a neck-cord.)

I have to wear safety glasses and ear protection at work, a mandatory requirement. The safety glasses that I use have flat arms and therefore the ear defenders do not squeeze them against my head. My glasses are prescription ones and are made by Bolle. You can get them from Vision Express, or at least that is where my company sends me to for my eye test/ safety glasses.

Funnily enough, I know one regular at these matches for whom these would be ideal - exactly the cut of his jib clapclap

The
Gel Pads for
MSA Sordin ear defenders claim to seal better when worn with glasses. I've only just switched to gel pads, so I'll found out if they really work on Saturday.

I use Rudy Project Rydon glasses with Peltor ear defenders and found it to be the perfect match. The glasses accept a prescription insert although I've never tried adding one.

+1 for ess crossbow.
I believe they are made by Oakley for the military and i was able to pick up a couple of sets in ebay at very reasonable prices.
As well as the legs issue I was very pleased to see that the lenses are higher than on some. So when you lower your head to look down your sights you are still looking through the glasses and not having your vision obstructed by the top edge of the lens.

Just a cheap pair of unbranded ones.
