Hi all, this is my new 42 mosin nagant 9130 in action.
It features the first side rail type mount that the Red Army used when they were making snipers - or their first attempt at a sniper.

Looks just like his rifle in the pics below

The original Pem scope was practically a 1937 blueless relic which I bought from France for a lot of money, had the soviet markings scrubbed off (Gerries did that alot) but the leningrad progression stamp was left. It had very stiff turrets and foggy lenses. Now has been refurbed and reblued. Mount is a 1-1 repro.

Only shot on range day once - did okay... sure it will improve

enjoy cheers DB

Hey mate welcome !

I use PPU with it, I tend to use the surplus stuff for shorter range

yeah Lots off ppl rave about it for reloading.

Yes me and Dad went today, I must say that there wasnt much choice. I have been to the last 3 shows at Bisley and I see the same guns on some stalls as last time. I picked out a nice Enfield #1 mk3 for my dad who is well chuffed with it. Nothing for me though, although I saw a nice Tikka M91 mosin nagant for £275 and was temped but I passed it on.

I have a load of Privi that I use for plinking in a .308 and it always comes up to scratch. I have used it in my .303's in the past as well.
