Just looking at picatinny torch mounts for my ar15 any ideas folks

Not sure the surefire ones seem a tad expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for.
Quick detach would be good aswell doesn't need to be on the rifle at all times.

Jetbeam are pretty good, don't cost the earth and the torches are extremely bright.
I have PC-25 in their mount and during indoor mini rifle match it's so bright as to be accused of cheating.

EBay, picatinny torch mount, done and for a cost that's actually relative to what you want :-)
