S&W model 21 .44 special round butt frame. A modernized version of the pre-war revolver. I like the .44 special cartridge, very accurate and it works well in my Rossi 92 .44 carbine. I had a number of N frame Smith revolvers at one time, sold all but one and now it seems I'm starting to accumulate them again!

Thanks for that rfrdr. :good:

Looks a nice one, these old revolver are increasing in price, a good investment I think. Now! If you had bought a few Colt Pythons when they came out. Wow! razz

Proper Guns like these are not just tools for launching bullets, they are desirable, almost art like possessions that will last for ever, unlike, IMHO, these modern Polymer Guns. :p

BTW. Like the custom grips. A while back ebay UK were advertising a large selection of S&W Revolver grips from Asia, very high quality and only £25. Pity they don't seem to be advertising just now though.

I see S&W are still producing Classic Revolvers. :good:
