We had our annual maintenance day yesterday and some real hard work was done especially by the guys digging out the back stop and laying a new floor in the firing point. It looks nice now before the grass starts to go wild. Lets see pictures of your home range.

Interesting range, Mike. Not originally a military range i'm thinking............did the club build it originally or 'inherit' it?

No definetly not a military range! The club secured the land about 25 years ago and there used to be a clay shooting ground there. The club then built the back stop etc. Nice quiet location put a pig to get to and lacking in facilities. Hopefully all that will change in the next few years.

That is a very nice looking range Mike. 100 yards or does it go out further?

The top picture is our pistol range, 25yds with covered FP at 25yds.
We do have a 100yd FP in the field next to th epistol range but the farmer refuses to allow us to put in a fixed structure at 100 yds so you need GPS to find it and a strong nose to put up with all the cow poo :-)
