Form 201

I am just trawling through this for my renewal.
First time I have used this form and mine from TVP is slightly different to the one in the library.
However what I cant see is anywhere to declare your HO nominated club or where to put details of club memberships.
I cant see anywhere where the club secretary`s details are asked for.
I plan on scanning my various membership cards and including my nominated club details as a matter of course.
Presumably this must be covered at the FEO`s visit?

Turns out it is on a separate form to be filled out by your club. Will try to find it again...

Use the official Home Office form, unfortunately many licensing authorities have there own variations of it altered to suit there own unlawful requirements (see Durhams for a "good" example). You can always find the official form on the BASC website,

http://basc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/d ... unform.pdf

Link to the BASC page for all forms,

Best to look for the forms on your licensing authorities web site.

As Jeff has said there are many local variations, using what they offer can save forms being returned.

Thanks for the replies.
I will just carry on with the forms I downloaded from TVP.
They are clearly numbered so I can only assume they have their own way of dealing with the club membership issue.
It just seems odd that there is no mention of club membership and I have looked through them 20 plus times!
In fact I cant find anywhere that states the fee!
I need to get it in this week to stay within the minimum 60 days.

Give them a ring with your questions.

The other thing I find odd is sending a large envelope with lots of personal info clearly marked to Firearm Licensing through the post.
Make me a little bit uneasy tbh !
I always put F.L Dept.

I thought the BASC and the home office made them all the same from January or something. Guess not

For Derbyshire you list the club next to the reason column for each firearm slot. They didn't require club secretary details for my renewal as it hasn't changed.

Hi - I've just done this myself. It's not the best laid out form considering the nature of it.

Put the details - club, membership number, club secretary, and address details in the section entitled:

"CONTINUATION SHEET
Please use this space for any additional information relating to parts A-E of this form:"

Also use that space to list any enclosures. Also, to speed things up, include your proof of good reason for holding a FAC in the form of copies of your shooting records for the last five years - get the club secretary to sign then. Although it took an age for my renewal to happen there were no quibbles on my application because I'd already answered possible details they might need.
