Not sure if this has been asked before but here goes any way. I have a couple of bottles of allox they have been stood on a shelf for a while it looks like the solvent has disappeared the lids probably were not on tight what can I use to top them up with so I can use them.

Heat them up and add equal part white spirit.
Why applying Xlox less is more, there should just be a light golden hue on the boolit when it is dry.

It is an improved alox mixture with carnauba wax in it, originally developed by cbrick and now commercially available.

Its easy to make if you can get hold of Johnsons paste wax (I bought mine in the USA and got it posted over by the seller).
I've got loads of 45/45/10 so I could give you some to try.

The JPW method is a bugger to do, cooking off all those solvents, far easier to cut to the chase and just add some carnauba wax with the white spirit.
