S class update

What is happening in the world of S class?
I am renewing my FAC right now and plan on getting something suitable.
Probably a T3 in 6.5 or 260 rem.
It would be great to have another Bisley session which I couldn't make last time due to no suitable rifle.

Still going strong up here, but that doesn't help you in relation to Bisley.

I honestly don't know if Oaken (or anyone else for that matter) has another Bisley shoot planned, but I would hope so. My only suggestion would be to contact Oaken or someone who shot the comp last year (on here or The Stalking Directory) and see if there's another planned.

Judging by the positive comments from last year's Bisley shoot, I'm sure it'll be a regular thing but it does need someone to be organising them and herding the cats, sorry shooters! ;)

There are plans for more at Bisley, but these are taking a back seat to the shooting show preparation and also planning for the 2015 world's in Raton.
I know Oaken is also planning on running some too.

It sounds like something I'd like to have a go at, does one need to be a member of the NRA to shoot it?

It still has it followers and is shot at club level albeit informally. If you are a member of a club or even within a group of overland shooters it is very easy to organise and always fun. I have a copy of the 'rules' if you wish

Thank you Ovenpaa, a copy of the rules would be very much appreciated.

Shame as it seems good fun and more relevant to field shooting than most other forms of competitions.

With the 13 lbs weight limit I think my sako 75 varmint would just sneak in.
