Looking for a cheap practical shotgun, not section 1 as will be used for corporate days so very 'tacticool' looking (pistol grip, 24" etc). Need one as pump and one as semi. Any recommendations? The Revo look cheap for what I need?

I don't think you can go wrong for the £275 that a new Revo tacticool pump effort goes for. At that price you can just buy a few to keep spare in case of issues, but they run pretty well by all accounts. I know the Armsan 612's semis are absolutely unstoppable even in the hands of a numpty and they run about 370 quid new in the synthetic stock version, but not as pointable as the little Revo. The brother in law is desperate for me to get one of the Revos so he can have a play.

For a little more Revo do the pump / semi dual system in a 24" pistol gripped package - haven't read much about them but might be a neat solution to needing both...

one of the shooters at my club needs rid of his new revo tactical pump 2+1, i'm tempted.... only thing stopping me is i would prefer to go for the fac version

I'm tempted by the Revo too. Read a decent review thanks to a member of this forum and they seem brilliant for the money

My mates Revo had the vented rib separate from the barrel as he was shooting.

Wish my 870's vented rib would do the same!

Just digging this thread up. I was looking at the FAC Revo in a shop the other day. I was a bit put off by the pump return spring and the fact that the fore end covers the loading gate when it's back, slowing down reloading a bit.
If you're happy to tackle those 2 issues then I was pretty impressed. It felt solid enough and the sights were good.

Spotted HUSAN shotguns in local shop today: Not to be confused with HATSAN. AR platform, looks sturdy.

There's also a magazine fed (7+1) Pump Action on the shelf ..not a bad rach (AR style platform again) : should have info over the weekend.

Looks like they and others are going for the US market as most magazines now appear to be 7 shot (giving 7+1) to keep the anti gun brigade happy

Many pump actions cover the loading port when the forend is in the rearward position including the Benelli Supernova which is regarded as one of the best pump guns for PSG so I wouldn't be worried about that
