Hi all,

of course I did search but didn't manage to find an up to date picture on todays answer for this. Blimey is it nearly 2015?

Just looking for what folks choose as the go to product/vendor for a mag conversion on the remy 700 in .223. I've seen Roedale......

Feeding isn't brilliant on my stock solution currently and I'm a 'mag favourer' (must be a better synonym for that!)

Please advise learned ones.

Thanks.

Had an Armalon for about 15 years.

Never had any problem with it

What about a normal after market bottom metal with an AICS polymer or AI clone magazine?

Badger ordnance. Takes Ai mags or the AI clones from the likes of Major Disorder on here.
Works superb.

Check out the shooting shed I think ovenpaa does this sort of thing. You will find him in the vendors and innovators section of the forum.

Great thanks. Any UK suppliers for the BO bottom metal or do folks order it from the US?

I had good luck with H & S Precision bottom metal. The only problem is getting magazines for them - thanks to the anal-retentives at the US State Department!

I have a legacy sports plastic bottom and trigger guard and two 5 round plastic mags and it works well. I was a bit scepticalwith it being plastic but it does the job, it's light and not metal on metal sound.

AI polymer mags work fine and allow for long OAL if required
