Been a few threads on here about the pros and cons of various types of calipers in the past which have always made for interesting reading
This dropped into my inbox at work this morning and I thought it looked worthy of passing on as the prices are good and the quality of Moore and Wright has, in the past, always been up there with the best.

I have dealt with the company a few times in the past and the service has been good (I have no connection with them, apart from as a satisfied customer!)

We use RDG occasionally and they are always prompt to ship things out. I was looking at their airbrush kits at a show recently, they do a set with a compressor and airbrush for under seventy pounds with free postage and to my very untrained eyes they looked to be well worth the price.

As with all such companies they are selling items in the lower price ranges so it pays to do some research before ordering however you soon get a feel for what is going to be good and what is going to be not so good.

I've been to their warehouse a few times and it's a pretty impressive place, just next door to the current Myford guys too.
They diddled me out of a tenner the last time I was there though and I didn't realise until I got home :(

I went through the airbrush and compressor buying minefield a couple of years ago for model making. Luckily I have a friend who uses one professionally and tried various types and set-ups first which was a great help. Ended up buying a small compressor with a reservoir as they are far easier to regulate when painting fine and detailed stuff (and a lot quieter). It came with a dual control cheapy airbrush which works ok but I soon replaced it with a good quality Badger and the difference is quite noticeable (even to my untrained eye) The 'agricultural' one is now only used for undercoats.
I dont know if the compressor would stand up to being thrashed every day but so far it has done exactly what I have wanted it to do and it was only £70!
