Bulletproof Insurance

#1 Post by Gaz »

Has anyone come across this lot before? http://www.jswinsurance.co.uk/insurance ... -shooters/
Bulletproof Insurance has been developed to provide recreational shooters and firearms users with a comprehensive level of worldwide* shooting insurance cover—without the need to join a membership-based shooting or countryside organisation.

As a result we can offer you an insurance policy for just £29.50 per year. That’s less than the cost of using two shotgun cartridges or one round of .223 Remington centrefire ammunition each week.
I know nothing about them but the legal insurance looks surprisingly comprehensive. The only bit that has my spidey sense tingling is the part which says they will assign a lawyer to you, presumably from a nearby firm of non-specialists...

Hmmm would definitely want my policy to cover USA and Canada (theirs doesn't). Have noticed a couple of ads recently with brokers offering shooting policies - of course it might all be the same insurance through different brokers?

Here's another one which pops up on Ebay as an ad

Gaz, our "Bodies" should check it out and get "their" lawyers onto the panel.

Standard practice for insurers to specify a lawyer. Maybe they should be invited to say a few words on here?

Maybe they should! It looks sound enough, but of course anyone can promise you the moon on a stick.

Too true Gaz, just look at our politicians. :bad:

If they spoke on here and answered questions then fine, if they are invited and refuse then just go elsewhere, simple really.

Send them a formal invite from the moderators?
