First reduced load

so last wednesday I took my Musgrave 7.62x51 to our 25 yard range with 8 reduced loads making sure two of our clubs reloading gurus would be on hand to watch and inspect the cases
everything went well just wish I had loaded more
Even though we have two good gun shops locally I ended up buying alliant blue dot, not my first choice
but 9 grains with a 120 grain bullet or is that boolit with a cci large rifle primer
Target Rifle sights set at 300yards left a fairly tight group about an inch below the 10 ring
well pleased

Well done.

What were they inspecting the cases for?

Was it a cast boolit? If so what design?

Interested in how the case was used to show pressure signs.

This might be helpful to you in the future when looking for "pressure signs". http://www.full-bore.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8480

Were the loads chronographed?

Might not have been for pressure signs
I was looking at the cases as they were much cleaner than when I shoot with a full load outdoors
however I noticed some colouring simaler to annealing
Interesting link thanks
no chrono thats the next step
