Has anybody got any experience using one? They are on the Fox Firearms website but with no price.

There are a couple in use at our Range and the owners seem happy. I had a go with one when Seb (Sebastian Lambang the manufacturer) brought the prototype over to the UK about 12 months ago. As with all Seb's gear, it's beautifully made, well designed and does the job.

Just had a look on Foxy's website - you'll have noticed that the bi-pod in the You Tube vid. is not like the one on Foxy's website. The You Tube vid shows the latest version - which Foxy also has in stock. He may have the odd early one left - as shown on his site - but the later one is much better and very light.

Some of the bench rest boys at one of my clubs have used them and they are well made and engineered.

However the word is that with the joystick types you either like them or hate them, some people just can't get off on them, others think tehy are the best thing since sliced bread.

So I would advise trying one out to make sure that it is for you before handing over the cash.

Acually, I think Foxy sells them for £395. Don't forget, these are made in Indonesia and come direct to Foxy - NOT via the States.

Seb Lambang made an introductory offer promise over 12 months ago that the first 100 delivered would be priced to sell at $500 US retail, but this wouldn't be maintained if the product was successful. The fact that Brian Fox sells them for under £400 shows that a cynical 'resting assured' that £ sterling prices match USD equivalents doesn't always apply especially when this importer / trader is involved. Brian's business and personal relationship with Seb goes back a long way too, so I imagine he probably manages to negotiate a good deal for us.

I think it does say though that once he has sold his initial delivery stock out, the bipod will cost more than £400, maybe much more, as Seb has obviously applied a large price increase to the second delivery to the USA.
