Given we now have uniform queuing up to invade our homes on the pretence we might become traitors & terrorists, making th neighbours twitch with panda cars on the drive etc
Can we not just frustrate this rubbish by NOT keeping any of the storage cabinet keys at home? i.e. you will have to come back with an appointment & then I will have the keys available.
& for the purposes of eavesdroppers - My FLO & his team are welcome to say "coming round Tues to Thurs to check FAC & kit mate" - Std Reply "Sure, no probs the kettle taks a minute to boil, 2 sugars inst it ?"

You couldn't give anyone your keys to keep , you would have to keep them in a safe that no-one else had access to , ie your bank safety deposit box.
I keep mine in my pocket and hide them in different places , changed regularly .
:goodjob:

As long as the keys are locked away elsewhere and as waterford says only you have access to it imo yes.
Thing is they still might want to come in to your house to check to see you haven't got any guns/ammo outside the safe

What about when you sleep or take a shower?
I've actually read on another forum that someone covered by Devon and Cornwall was told they couldn't keep their keys on their person because they "wouldn't be secure" when the person slept or got washed  Not sure how true it is but its a sad state of affairs that its even half believable

Yes individuals can be that thick: If you make everything idiot proof, evolution will just make a better idiot!
Off topic but: No natural selection anymore: always a state handout to provide. No problem helping the old/ infirm/those less abled to help themselves: however there are just too many were benefits are a life style choice. emrolleyes

I paid a small fortune to have a special stainless steel box implanted into my chest cavity to store my vault keys.
The only problem is, I've lost the keys that open the box. Doh!
