What lube do you use?

After reading the Lee Reloading manual apparently I should be lubricating my cast boolits in order to stop leading. I was unaware of this but I haven't fired too many so I should be hopefully OK. zzzzom
Are other 9mm reloaders using lube, where do you put it and where's the best place to get it from? I'll probably be shooting a box of 50 or so cartridges each outing through an LR9. sign92

Although not 9mm the lead .357 bullets I buy have a wax ring underneath the crimp canelure. I imagine it shouldn't be too different for 9mm. See attached pic.

Carnuba Red for rifle and a home brew for pistol calibres.

The projectiles that I have look exactly like the one to the far left complete with blue ring. Does that mean that they are already waxed? The section of the manual I was reading referred to casting your own so I'm wondering if purchased ones are fine as they are.

Yes they are completely fine. You would need to add the wax if you casted them yourself, no need to do it for bullets you've bought.

BTW - maybe a silly question but are you sizing the boolits?
