Recommend me a 'scope

I am looking for suggestions for a 'scope, ideally it will be:

European built
Variable magnification around 4-12X
Low turrets idealy open type so they can be easily dialled in for longer distances
1/10th Mil klicks

Any recommendations?

We haven't but they are in our favourites and Bnz looks at the site.

European built will limit you to expensive scopes, you have mentioned getting a calibre for hunting, are you putting a hunting rig together?

My friend got a 6.5 Sako with Zeiss scope from http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/cat ... ackages_2/ Sportsman Gun Centre.

Lovely scope, as you would expect, and the first time I put 3 rounds through the same hole - all be it on the zero range.

Perhaps not your first port of call but their combo packages do appear to give good value for money,
