Notification of purchases.

I know I have to notify the local firearms office of gun purchases, but do I also have to notify them of ammunition purchases?

As a matter of interest, my local Firearms Office will accept e-mail notifications of acquisitions/disposals as an alternative to the normal form - is this widespread?

It seems that a lot of forces are accepting email notifications now. I know for a fact that Cheshire Constabulary does. :good:

This is one thing Durham has right as they also accept electronic notifications (you can also send variations by email too)

Glos and TVP accept email notifications and confirm receipt. :cheers:
