I am not quite sure if Ryanair allows firearms in the checked baggage. Might be missing something.

Does anyone know?
Are there any airline companies that allow firearms?

Looks like they don't allow them at all.
Easyjet allow sporting firearms.

"Firearms and explosives such as handguns, automatic weapons, munitions, ammunitions including blank cartridges, pistol caps, fireworks, flares, smoke canisters and crackers. Exception: Firearms and ammunition for hunting and sporting purposes may be accepted as Checked Baggage."

FLYbe did in 2008, I don't suppose it's changed. Rifle had to be secured in an appropriate case (Peli or similar) and was booked additionally as sporting equipment with a surchage.

easy jet does but they are total muppets and sent my rifle to Glasgow and me to inverness , no compensation of any description and the staff all lied (with the exception of one)
if you use them , don't trust them and record everything they say for future reference.

Flybe do not do DK....
Preferably flying into Jutland, Billund or Aarhus. CPH as a last resort.
The reason being that DFDS are closing the ferry to DK from the end of Sep. We need to find an alternative way of getting in and out of DK with firearms. I really do not fancy the drive up through Europe...

Ryan Air want to charge you for taking a pee, never mind taking your guns.
Ive only ever flown once with Ryan Air, a return trip unfortunately. I'll never fly with them again.
People demonstrate about the conditions for exported live animals, how they've never demonstrated along the same lines for how Ryan Aid treat people, I'll never know!

RyanAir stopped taking firearms about 10 years ago, not sure if they have since changed that back. EasyJet do.
Where do you want to go? It might help with the choice if only certain airlines go there. No need to check if Quantas allow firearms if you are travelling to St Mawgan.
