I tried nearly 100 rounds tonight in my benchrest rifle. Sad to say too many fliers! R50 seems to be the one to use but costs a fortune. sign01
Anybody else tried Edge?

I still feel the compulsion to buy Eley ammo, I put it down to forlorn patriotic loyalty, as they've been putting out some sh-ite on the home market for quite a few years now.

My 15-22 had a major disagreement with a box, too many issues, FTE and the occasional light strike.
The waxy coating it a bugger to clean up after too.

I switched from the rather expensive Eley Match to Club for a couple of cards in our county 25yds indoor league.
That cost me two points off my season's average because Club seems to group at double the size of Match in my rifle.
I am now back to shooting Match for the moment until I sort myself out with a few hundred rounds of RWS!

Don't be tempted by the cheaper RWS Target Sport - it's absolutely dreadful!

When I was shooting small-bore I settled on R50 as being the most consistant ammo from batch to batch, yes it's more expensive that some but not as expensive as Eley Tenex which unless you batch test can be shocking.
I did find that a reasonable priced ammo was Lapua Centre X.
