Any suggestions regarding case annealing machines i.e.: ones available here ?

I've been contemplating the same thing recently...

Right now, it's basically the American Bench Source, an excellent manual feed machine.

Despite being manual feed, it's fast enough for most people. Most users order direct from the manufacturer. There are very occasional s/h examples and they sell the day they're advertised.

Automatic feed machines like the Giraud cannot be exported from the US as the State Department has deemed them to be used for 'large scale ammunition manufacture'.

There are at least a couple of guys working on home produced annealing machines. One has an excellent reputation in small scale electro-mechanical shooting accessories, and I'm waiting to see if / when his version appears, it now running at the Mk 3 prototype stage.

You can make one like this yourself using a pipe end-cap, a piece of wood and some wire.

I'd buy a British made annealing machine in a heart beat so long as it didn't cost the earth.

I have seen the Giraud and the Bench source, (I think Ian Boxall has a bench source). Talking to a few worthies, its the process control you need to get right if you are to keep things consistent enough. I think a machine is the only way to truly achieve this once you have to flame and temp correctly targetted.

I too am very interested in this - if my suppositions are correct about the gentleman to whom Laurie refers, it ought to be good.

I've got one very similar to the one in Rox's link being built at the moment, it will be "magazine" fed though as opposed to single feed - Caveman off here maybe able to shed more light on its progress as he is building it!

Yes its coming alone nicely, just taken the basic idea of MrLongRange and trying to add auto feed for different size cases. Also not a fan of having the blow torch standing free, so it is held in place and the timing controlled with a simple speed controller. Future upgrade would be an induction coil to remove the naked flame.
