I believe I have found a working alternative to the Bisley "no rundowns unless you have a million MOD RCOs" problem ;)

Gun safety and warnings were fine. However, his use of the treadmill needs tidying up. He should NOT have started it running whilst standing astride and then stepping onto the moving belt - too often have I seen someone do that and get their feet taken from under them. He shoudl be standing on the belt as he starts it and quickly build up his pace.

Safety is NOT just about the guns, but everything involved and around.

Classic!

You could have a row of them across Century...and why not fix-bayonets too, just to make it even more interesting kukkuk

As an aside - I was chatting to the 'Kernow Cowboys' (the guys who dress up in cowboy and confederate dress at meetings) one evening at the Phoenix...we were discussing 'cowboy' shooting skills, and I mentioned that I've always wanted to shoot from horseback (would love to take on some targets galloping down Stickledown with my Marlin)...

...now I was being semi tongue in cheek, but as it turned out one of them has done a few horseback shooting demonstrations in America - I saw a video of it...the BP pistols he was using were loaded just with a bit of paper (sufficient to burst a balloon at 20 feet), and the horse had ear-plugs (I s*** you not  )...he cantered round a course of balloons, shooting to his side and across the body; and didn't miss once...was pretty impressive tongueout

I will bring the treadmill to the range and see if the other club members think of me what I am thinking watching the video, what an Arsh**e.

But surely the point of moving is to get closer to the targets..??!!

....maybe you need to combine this with the Advancing man targets... :D

Why not just run toward the target? Bizarre but good shooting skills!
