Brindles sights were made by John Light, Lightwater, Surrey. I can only guess the trigger is his work too. I visited his workshop a few years ago, but I think he has pretty much retired now. He was helping out in the range office during the Imperial about 2 or 3 years ago. I have a set of Brindles sights - good kit. Might be possible to arrange to pay him a visit on Friday if you like.

It would certainly be nice to find out a bit more about the box, it sits on my P14 and is a delight to shoot with.

Hi BOR, so your springs are broken? The Brindles trigger box is not very well documented on the internet but hopefully Rox can help here with contact to some spares. I will PM him for you.

I believe John Light sold his Brindles sights and triggers business to Kevin Hill, who I have seen often at Bisley, but do not have contact details for.
If anyone knows how to contact Kevin, plse let me know as i have a Brindle sight in need of servicing!
Cheers, SD

David,
Light used to make his trigger in small quantity for different models, Swing, P14 and Nr 4s .
Good 2-stage triggers. Levers broke easily as meta was quite brittle. I have 2 of have 2 in my collection of triggers.

Robert, mine is on a P14, I had better take good care of it if they are fragile.
