As per the title. I am very fortunate to have a great firearms team in Staffs however I might be moving in the future. Without casting aspersions can people in the areas listed advise me on the forces attitude to number of rifles, speed of paperwork processing and views on hold limits.

Obviously its not going to play a major part in any decision but it would be nice to know what I'd be getting if I did move into one of those areas.

Thanks

Charlotte.

As a membership sec for a large club I deal with GMP, Derbyshire and Cheshire. They are all very good to work with and I get very little negative feedback from members.

As above. I'm in Cheshire, and I've never had a problem. If you have good reasons and can show justification for your requests, you'll normally get what you want. ;)

I come under GMP.

Recently had a variation that took just over 2 weeks to come through. Not a problem with any request for rifle or calibre. They were very friendly and helpful when I rang them with a few questions.
They have only ever given me the standard hold amounts but for me that has always been enough.
