I've always had the opinion that Women were better natural shooters than Men.

Snipers of the Soviet Union played an important role mainly on the Eastern Front of World War II, apart from other preceding and subsequent conflicts. In World War II, Soviet snipers used the 7.62x54R rifle cartridge with light, heavy, armour-piercing (B-30), armour-piercing-and-incendiary (B-32), zeroing-and-incendiary (P3), and tracer bullets. Most Soviet WWII snipers carried a combat load of 120 rifle cartridges in the field.Unlike the militaries of other nations, these snipers could be men or women. In 1943, there were over 2,000 women functioning in this role.

Not all of them were of shot putting physique either, Senior Sergeant Roza Shanina, with 54 confirmed kills, soviet army WWII

I've always been of the opinion that women are more suited to becoming "better" shots than men. They are biologically disposed to multi tasking, which when you consider all the attributes and factors to consider before releasing the round, they are well suited.

However, other female attributes have to be overcome to achieve this. Particularly in the strength department where on average, a woman is 30% less strong than a man. But that is no reason not to encourage female participation in the sport.

And we would need to make a lot more of the accessories matching in colour for it to be really attractive to women!!!

I seem to remember Heather has a pink rifle if that counts? There is no doubt a female shooter is every bit as capable as her male counterpart and I just wish we saw more women in the sport, this forum has maybe 5 female members? My last two clubs have only had a handful of women but they were always very competitive. I think if a woman is prepared to shoot then she is going to try and shoot well and I see no reason why they should not be at least as good as us if not considerably better.

Female Russian snipers would not want to be caught by the Nazis?

Mrs T is a dab hand with a rifle, pistol, SMG......even at longer ranges (like 900 yards with an unzeroed AE)..
