Being an honest British Citizen, terrified of offending someone who might get offended on someone else's behalf, I'll refrain from saying the name of this part-tart product.
I think it's clearly one for Snayperskaya though :D

It's a Middle Eastern thing - used to tape pictures of family, religious texts, pressed flowers and such to rifles (it's transparent) - often wrapped in the colours of national flags. Not sure it would be so popular over here - it's a bit too bling.

I have heard of UK issue sniper fabric tape referred to as "rape tape".

No Khyber Pass AK is complete without this tape, as the saying goes "p@#i made gets you laid".Its not one for me, more for a Dushmans AK than for a glorious Kalashnikov of the Soviet Motherland.
The closest a Soviet/Russian trooper would get is blue "Izolenta" tape for taping two mags together.
