Still don't know whether to get another rifle or another 12G clay/pigeon buster.
Already got a Gracoil to save Rob's feeble bones...another project like this perhaps???
Can't shoot Enfields and the like and won't get one to keep in the cabinet or put on the wall...and I would certainly not fit a Gracoil to any of these
beauties ...

I do find myself drawn back to Dromia's place quite often, just too see what he has in stock.
Do you have any local ranges that extend out to 400-600m and are easily accessible? If so why not look at a 6.5x47? They are very accurate easy to load and certainly not as hard hitting as a clay buster.

Sennibridge only...but Spring has sprung.
I use a moderator or muzzle break so any new rifle will have the same fitted...you know it would be a 700 of course. My T8 fits all ...308win and 223rem.
Yes...I've been thinking of one in between my two.

Alpha1,
Anything with a kick like a 308win, 303 brit, 12G etc gives pain...very bad back...and its getting worse...so either a gracoil, moderator or break.
:(

A 6.5x47 would fit the bill very nicely

Of course, ovenpaa...you are right...my 223rem (556nato ish

) is great when foxing with or without mod...in terms of recoil but easier on the ears with.
CCCRACK!
