I have been on the lookout for some Large rifle match primers for ages now.
I know they are on short supply. Hannams haven't had any for over a year now.
HPS haven't any either.
Anyone got any or know of any?

I turned down the last ones I was offered as they were obscenely expensive at over GBP75/1000 and that was to me!

I think I may have 300 or 400 left in stock, away 'till tomorrow so cannot check amounts 'till then.

I'm pretty sure Brian Fox has some - The may not be 'match' but, the only difference between 'match' and standard - match primers are inspected to make sure they have priming compound in there. Once you know that - why pay the extra?

I thought it had always been touted that the M primers were made by the most experienced operators who achieved the most uniform spread of primer compound. Is that now known to be not the case?

Norman Clarke has them and will be at the Phoenix this w/e. Give him a ring and he will put some aside for you.

I am at Bisley Friday so will go along to see Norman Clarke`s.
I have a few other makes of primers and thought I may well try a comparison.

I got 10,000 of the PMC/Murom LR primers from DodgyRog last year at a good price, they work very nicely for me

Just got back from Bisley.
Norman Clarke has no Federal match primers.
I found one dealer who had 3k and I bought 1k @ £49-50
I also bought 1k of Muron from HPS @ £26-30.
HPS have bulk SMK`s in 1200`s of 2155 at £318 and 2156 @ £330.
