Slightly off topic, but back in the eighties i was a member of the 'Tunnel Club in Devizes. i had booked a slot on the 100x range on a a Friday evening. i arrived a few minutes early and booked in. Went to the range to find the door locked. knocked politely on the door and waited.... No response. tapped quietly again still no response....... so beat on the door with serious intent/frustration. the door was opened by a gent with a big bushy beard who Instantly recognised as Malcom Cooper. He was very apologetic for keeping me waiting. (I was slightly embarrassed ) He explained that he was just packing up his rifles. There on the coconut matting were several fledgling Accuracy International rifles. Hed a similar experience on another occasion. went down to the range and a chap was packing some seriously nice rifles. It was Aftab Mohamed, (founder of Reloading Solutions) really nice chap. I recall we had a great chat on hie game shooting experiences in East Africa before he and his family were kicked out by Idi Amin.
