MET Police Variation time

Got my FAC back today, took three and a half weeks. I'm happy with that, felt like three and a half months though.
Added another 223 and mods

Sent my renewal off to the Met three weeks back - have not even had a call about a visit yet! Starting to understand why they want 8 weeks.

It doesn't harm to call them and ask where its up to. When I phoned up after 10 days, they checked and gave me a accurate time scale when I could expect a call form the FEO. Possibly different for a renewal but still worth doing?
