Firearms minister is conspiracy theorist eccentric

#1 Post by Gaz »

Came across this just now. Who thought giving this man the firearms brief was a sensible idea?

In the biggest shock of yesterday’s reshuffles, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg gave the Home Office job to Mr Baker, who wrote a book suggesting UN weapons inspector Dr David Kelly was murdered by an Iraqi hit squad and the incident was covered up by British security services

He has also said that he believes the death of former Labour foreign secretary Robin Cook may have been suspicious.

To be honest it is a bit of a Daily Mail hatchet job Gaz, should we be giving such credence to such a tawdry rag?

Yes Norman is a bit eccentric, I should know considering I actually worked for him in his constituency office ten years ago and have known him since I was a child on a first name basis. For that matter I have his personal number and could pick up a phone and speak to him now (before anybody gets any ideas I am NOT giving out his personal number as I he think he has a right to a personal life just like myself) How many here or at the Daily Mail can say that Gaz?

He is a very hard working MP, again something I know from personal experience and he was a good rail minister. He isn't the only person who has question marks over the Kelly death just the same that many have question marks over Dunblane. Do we call all people who participate in this website who have reservations about the events at Dunblane "conspiracy theorists"?

Now don't get me wrong I don't agree with Norman in respect of gun licencing, I didn't when I worked for him ten years ago and told him as such to his face on more then one occasion. He did at least take the time to appreciate my view even if it differed from his, something that many a politician wouldn't do.

Funnily we did get a weekly visit from a REAL conspiracy theorist when I worked at his office, wanted us to give Norman a weekly paper he wrote about Atlantis and Aliens working with the government. Norman had a policy of keeping all correspondence however loony so no doubt those papers are still at his office in a filing cabinet.

The bloke is clearly nuts. UN weapons inspector Dr David Kelly was murdered by a Blair hit squad and the incident was covered up by British security services.

There is no doubt, Blair had big plans in mind. It was only the rebellion within his party over 90-days detention without trial that stopped it. Gun ban + Right to trial Revoked + Mysterious deaths of anyone who disagrees with the party + CCTV cameras everywhere = Nineteen-Eighty-Four: Part 2.
