The orange Bakelite mag in the the 74 on his lap are quite sought after, most 74 mags are plum colour.The guy next to the one with the PPSH has an AK-74u which are evil little things.

Indeed, a lot of AKSu seems to have ended-up in the insurgents' hands after they seized various Police stations, but God knows where that PPSH come from as I doubt it was still in the Police armouries ? I don't despair to see a 41 appearing somewhere.

I would imagine the PPSH is from a looted military depot as there are a lot of depots all over Ukraine that are full of everything from the old Soviet days.I wouldn't be surprised if there are more than a few Svt-40s being lugged around also.

.22lr Baikal perhaps?.
There are a lot of AK-74u's on the streets, these are very effective as a CQB weapon as they are the size of a SMG but fire the same intermediate 5.45x39 round as the standard AK-74.
