I really thought I was gonna be impressed with SYFA this time round.
Submitted a variation to free up my S1 shotgun slot, add slug and the 2 moderators they missed off on the 8th April.
Got a call a week later to tell me I was an idiot when it came to the s1/s2 shotgun but that would be sorted. Called them a week or so later and was informed it was waiting to be signed. Another full week later and I'm still waiting.
They got my bloody hopes up (even though it was one of the most terrifying phone calls of my life)
Will be 4 weeks on weds, which isn't to bad really I suppose, I know they have a lot on.

Try moving to Durham, South Yorks are lightning fast in comparison

Join the club, we've been waiting over 6 months for my sons coterminous application (actually over 2-1/2 years including the original withdrawn application!). Going in to have "a chat" with the Firearms new Chief Inspector on the 15th to try and get it sorted.

I've been told 2-3 days by Herts. Put in for an extra S1 shotgun (so I can do manual class), more .22 ammo and a 7.62x54r slot. It dropped it in in person on Thursday, let's see what happens!

Five weeks in Nottinghamshire, even though it was agreed in principal with the FLO in under a fortnight!

Might get mine in for my boy now, he's only 2 so may still get it in time... ;-)
