I thought I was going mad!!

Sat down to do some 38sp & 357mag reloading and was going to try some new loads using Bullseye and Red dot using both hardcast 158gr and copper jacket 125gr bullets, I had selected the powders after referring to my 2nd edition Lee manual while I was at the range shop.
Well I settled down to start and opened up my manual and its like no data for 125gr fmj which I thought is strange, then I consulted my Alliant reloading manual and Lymans and no data for either powders and I started to think what the hell was I looking at when I was down the range? Well it just happens that I have 2 copies of the 2nd edition Lee manual (brought one and the other came with a press) one is in the house and the other in my reloading den, so went and got the one from the house and bang there's all the data I needed, I compared the two copies and the one with all the data has an extra 109 pages but get this it was a 2010 reprint of a 2003 book but the other one without the data required is a 2012 reprint of a 2011 revision and boasts its "all new data in an easy to read format with the worlds most comprehensive load data" why delete do much data, I could understand if it was for nolonger available powders and bullets but its not, for the specific 125gr fmj data there was 20 options in the older book, now it's down to just 2.
I can see I'm going to have to look at both versions now and see what has the best data for all the calibres I plan on reloading as I really did think I was losing it.
