Other than the 300 Infidel is a shortened .338 case necked down to .300 can anyone tell me anything about it or point me to a link on the cartridge, my internet google-fu has failed me this evening.

However I did find the 300 Hulk which is also a shortened 30-338 Lapua

Tom was shooting a big 30 wildcat he calls the "300 Hulk", a shortened 338 Lapua Magnum necked down to 30 caliber, pushing 240gr Sierra MatchKings (0.711 BC) at close to 3000 fps. Tom is using about 85 grains of H1000.
