Markings M98 Preduzege 44 seems like a russian capture one with the lighter wood stock

It was on when I bought it was going to take it off but kept it on for longer distance due to eyesight

The markings "Preduzege 44" & the type of hand guard would suggest your mauser is a M98/48 made mainly of german parts but refurbished by Zastava for the Yugoslavian army. Nice

We also knows a few local RFD types that'd probably be of some use too
