Does anyone own and/or shoot a cannon large or small? Even better have did you build it yourself and have you used it for anything other than making a noise?

Used to be in charge of one in the Sealed Knot. Also fired quite a few at a training weekend at Larkhill on an army base. Great fun, lots of noise and smoke.

Andy Allwood sells a few. When I was up at the NRA open day last may he was on Century with one.
I don't think they put a target up for him any more. :D

I really like the idea of "Target cannon", I saw a program on SKY where by teams in the USA fire a number of different types of cannon at a sheet of news paper 1000 yards away. Many hit it, and at the end of the program they manage to been a modern day military team with accuracy.

There's a small group of within the MLAGB that have been getting together at the Association's ranges at Wedgnock to shoot miniature cannon.
