No4 Mk 1. Unusual (to me) markings on barrel

Could someone explain this. Are they unusual . I took the woodwork off my No4 Mk1. Dated 1949 and made at Fazackley so that I could refurbish it . At the breech end of the barrel under the wood was the following. Belgian bore and rifling L1A1 chamber.7.62mm, 2. 015". 20tons and a small sq box and a larger circular one with 3 stamps in which are unclear. I know this has been converted to 7.62mm at a later date. Google the L1A1 and you will get FAL rifle (SLR) how is this connected.
Before Christel starts shouting about (this thread is useless without pics). My camera has no batteries at the moment. I will try to get something out soon.

At a guess (without pics) it sounds like a Belgian-made barrel was fitted and chambered using an L1A1 reamer. 2.015" sounds like cartridge overall length for the 7.62x51mm cartridge - similar proof markings can be found on some .303" Enfields (in their case, 2.222").
But really we need pics!

I have tried to send 2 pictures off my iPad but it keep saying has to many pixels. I cropped it right down and still says the same. So l have given up. I was speaking to Colin at Fultons today and asked me to bring the rifle in less it's woodwork. I'm shooting on Stickledown next Sunday and will let him see it. He as said the same as Gaz and thinks it may be a prototype ?. I will let the from know the answer next week.

The size isn't the issue, it's the resolution that's the problem. The max resolution is 800x600.
The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels high. The submitted image is 3264 pixels wide and 2448 pixels high.
