Big Rats ...

My river has been up and that has forced the rats out into the open. I managed several today including one with a body of around 14"/35cm plus tail and a second of 12"/30cm ... as my neighbour put it "as big as bl***y squirrels!"

What's the largest anyone else has come across?

I see a lot of very big & nasty looking ones walking across London bridge every day ;)
I had to share the corridor of one hotel in Ha-noi with some 10+ inches body long porkers.
Fine establishment it was.

Super-sized rodents ! Rats could grow bigger than sheep and weigh same as average Briton.

I am just wondering if they'd be tastier roasted or in a wine stew ?

I normally prefer mine grilled, in a pitta bread with chilli sauce, onion and salad. But only after several pints.

Belize most probably. Huge bloody things came onto base because idiots were forever leaving food and crap around. However it was the snakes following the rats that were the real problem.
