Do You Keep a Reloading Log?

Following on from another post do you keep a reloading log that you could show the Police if it was requested to prove usage of each rifle?

Yes, we keep detailed reloading and shooting logs for all of our rifles listing every single round built and fired. The logs include date, full load details plus temperature and humidity at time of build plus date, venue, distance and weather for the shoot.

The Viking is the log keeper and can usually tell me exactly how many rounds are held at any one time plus the round count for every single rifle we have ever owned.

I tend to find that I average one can of Stella for every 50 rounds. The problem is by the time I finish 200 rounds I can't read what I've written!

Yes detailed records of loads and performance, hard copy and spread sheet now.

My records go back over 30 years.

Hell yes. I track every operation on every component that comprises every batch, as well as what goes through each barrel. I don't do it for the benefit of the Police though, but per-club one-click record keeping is a side-effect.

Not as such. I record load development, best loads etc but the club records of my attendance (and rifles) shows that I'm making my own ammunition especially as only one of my centre fire rifles I can buy ammunition for - the rest I have to make.

I don't have a log, but I do record the loads that I make and the dates that I reload them.

I have records of the times I have shot and scores I have received for almost every shot I have made.

Yes I have records going back 25 years. I like to sit down with it every now and again and start reading it from the beginning. The early part of it is mostly handgun stuff it brings back memories of good times places people some of them no longer with us. Happy days life seemed so much simpler then.
My main Club issues the members with a reloading log book and encourages the members to fill it in.

Nope I don't keep a log. I have all my pet/accurate loads on my laptop and also on hard copy, anything else load development wise is just damn good fun.
