licensing advice
Got my new shinny FAC today and spoke to the licensing lady and she said I had to put my reloads onto my lisence when I did them. Anyone else heard of this before, I live in Kent

I was told not to and that the only thing you should add to your FAC was your signature.

Being pedantic I do have reason to write on my own FAC from time to time however such actions are for very good reason. No S1 nor expanding ammunition that is reloaded need be entered onto your FAC if you did the reloading yourself.

So a resounding nope, was wondering why the government want to know how much I load. Although on the flip side it would help me prove the amount of ammo I use if I wanted to get a variation to hold more.

Hobbesy, just keep a log of the ammunition you reload and when you shoot it and that should be proof enough.

Which begs the question, if this person is talking rubbish, why on Earth are they in that job in the first place? Obviously they don't know the licensing rules imposed on shooters.

Used to be policy round here to have FLOs that were not interested in shooting in the job.
I have even had officers ask me some of the most stupid questions, even when they have all the facts in front of them.
The best was probably; "With those M4 hand guards you can make that AR15 go full-auto!" wtfwtf
