Custom painted rifles/stocks

I was browsing about the interwebs last night and saw a vast array of rifles all painted in the US with stuff called Krylon, I presume some kind of American Hammerite equivalent in this country, generic paint brand.
What had me astounded was the quality that people could get given a bit of forethought and preparation on painting their rifles, scopes and all...
Got me to thinking, has anyone on here had a go...? how did it turn out? any photos?
I really love the look of my all black Rem 700 police, but part of me wishes I could have a go at some kind of awesome tiger stripe camo, or digital camo a la battlefield/call of duty....
I seem to remember Sim G was selling a Savage in .223 a few years back just before I got my police, that I was really interested in, and I think that had a custom paint job... so I'm sure people have done it...
Perhaps we could have a gallery of them in this thread...? Along with any success or horror stories people might have of doing it?

Krylon and Duracoat are really popular in the US, both seem to give excellent finishes.
I'm planning on giving hydro-dipping a go, if I ever get a rifle that is.

Hydro dipping can give some really cool looking patterns, but I wouldn't want to try it myself... least of all, I don't fancy dipping a rifle in water to be honest... Rust is the enemy!
Duracoat I believe is ceramic, which is a lot harder to undo if you want to remove the paint... not that krylon would be much easier, but it would be somewhat easier...

I'd only be dipping the stock, no metal parts

bnz - this stuff is raved about in the US:

If you chip or scratch the pain job, just re-do it over the top... the great thing about camoflauge (if that's the look you're after) is that layers add to the effect...
I think this guys turns out great:

I saw one last night but I can't find it again, a guy used like 3 techniques on an AR platform rifle and it looked like an orange tiger stripe with scales... got me to thinking about something abstract with my TR rifle (it's never going to be a field gun so why not have an audacious stock on it...!

)

Dave Wylde at Valkyrie Rifles does lots of excellent custom paint jobs to just about any design you care to think of. He's also a top bloke and is worth speaking to if you want to do this sort of thing.
If you look at his site, you'll get the idea:

Thanks for the links Tattooed Gun I need a paint that can be used on a wood stock. It's mainly used on airsoft plastic.
Blackknight1974 Thanks, I had checked out Valkyrie already he does not sell the paint (Duracoat). Only does the paint work for customers.

Dunno what else you believe - but Duracoat is
not ceramic
I have some & it's an epoxy based formula

Nobody.
You'll only find folk that offer to do the work for you.
Import it yourself from Lauer Custom Weaponry - the makers.
https://www.lauerweaponry.com/
It USED to be that until quite recently it was a USA only shipping item.
They now offer a UPS Hazardous service for export to the UK. Not cheap but the haz-mat basic shipping fee will allow up to a certain weight to be sent in the package; when I asked I was told about 6 or 8 kits.
I was lucky that someone offered to fetch some back in person so I now have a couple of black shades and a couple of grey.
I forgot to add the tan & green shades though as the shopping cart at Lauer had expired.
Keep planning to order some of the other shades myself....

Group buy?
My old Savage, (oh how I miss that rifle which should never have been sold) was dura coated and the stock was from the factory in desert cam.
