FAC variation in Surrey - Do I need to send my FAC back?

Bit of a random one, but I sold a rifle today and want to have a variation on my FAC so I can have something different. I've looked through the Surrey firearms website and just cannot see whether I need to send my FAC back with the forms for notification of sale and the variation. Flying off on Monday for a week and could do with getting it done and in the post before I go. If anyone can advise that would be great, thanks.

Yes you will need to. If your new entitlement is not printed on your FAC the seller will not be able to sell you the replacement.

Ah right, I'll send it in then, thanks. I just assumed that a new FAC was printed to replace the old one, and that they sent that back to me (and then the old one just became obsolete).

Surrey have been very quick for me over the years, recently you can expect a 7 day turn around which I think is the envy of many,

Cool, fingers crossed then, I have my eye on a couple of new ones (ones I can use at Bisley unlike the 338 Lapua I've just sold).
