Thanks again Adam, just been having a look at the CH4D website as well and the two die sets look very reasonable.

I have an old set of NDFS dies & the Bertram & 348win cases will not fully enter the die as the case head is to large.
Have used a set of CH4D dies they are fine only the issue is they overwork the neck, from memory the expander ball is .326"
The CH4D FLR die reforms 348 WIN cases with less force than resizing fired cases from my rifle.
My preference would be CH4D dies & to neck size in a interchangeable bushing neck sizer.
Recommend a thorough annealing of Bertram cases in this caliber from new!!!

I would tend to go to CH 4D myself, I have found them easier to deal with and they will cut you dies to suit your specification without any bother.
When working with these older calibres it is always best to at least have a fired case and a bore/groove slug or even better a good impact chamber/throat/groove/bore slug for Dave at CH 4D to work with, the standard dimensioned dies for these older calibres are just that standard but most of the chambers aren't. Dave understands that so best to speak with him first to ensure that you get what you want/need.
Shame really as it is always best to buy British if you can.
No harm in speaking to Welsh Arms first to see what they say and see what you think of them.
