Talks by the NRA

Not wanting to hijack the punt gun thread, it reminded me of a post I never got rround to writing.
A while back I saw a punt gun on one of the "auction hunter" type programs and it set my mind wandering. After pondering the problems associate with getting a cabinet big enough to store one in, I thought I would like to see one fired.
This led me to the NRA.
Shooters love showing off their guns and talking about them. Could the NRA not arrange a series of on the range talks with both equipment that is either rare or has a historical angle?
I would love to hear a talk on cannons and see them fire, or even better hit something :)
Maybe a talk on standard issue riffles from black powder days to the cold war?
Rifles from the opposing armies etc
And no need for talks to be confined to the range, I would be interested in attending talks on a variety of subjects from home loading to personal stories of daring and do etc.
This would of course require someone to coordinate, but I would have thought a sensible charge could be arrived at that both paid the contributers for their time/materials and paid money in to the NRA.
perhaps a dual charging system for NRA and non NRA members?

No need for any of this to be at Bisley, however that is my home range.
