flash hiders......controlled part?

Are removeable flash hiders a controlled part under section 1?, in the same way as moderaters are.Talking about actual flash hiders not muzzle brakes.

You are asking about flash hinders not muzzle breaks.
I don't have the time to check the wording at this time, I am sure several others will put me right, but I think the act mentions flash hinders in with moderators.

DM, as fas as I know they are not listed or controlled, same as a muzzle brake.

The word "diminish" is the operative word here, muzzle brakes & flash hiders do not actually diminish the flash or the noise, they merely redirect it.
The flash hider sends the flash in an outward radial direction, giving the impression of hiding the flash. But in fact do not hide it at all.
